Collaboration

In collaboration with Roem Ontwerp, we crafted wall installations for Etran BV's new office. These installations enhance the workspace by offering sound absorption, moisture absorption, VOC neutralization, and biophilic qualities. Biophilic design in offices involves integrating natural elements and qualities into the workspace to enhance well-being, productivity, and connection to nature.

Color Palette

The colors incorporated into the wool felt wall installations complement the color palette curated by Rianne, the interior architect. This harmonious blend of wool, silk, and various plant dye colors blends seamlessly with the carpet, wooden wall finishes, and furniture, creating both a calming and inspiring atmosphere.

Plant Dyes

The main color in this woolfelt design is the plant dye indigo, complemented by shades of gray from Old Norwegian Short Tail Landrace wool. Details from madder are used to harmonize with the carpet in the office design. Smaller color details give the work extra depth. These come from leftover wool and silk from other projects. We utilize all the wool and silk we available, making a connection between projects and each textile piece.
